• Morning Mile with Sophie

  Following on from previous notices, Sophie ( a parent of an Oakfield pupil) will be running the London Marathon on April 28th for a charity called HENRY who prevent health problems in young children. To celebrate this we are inviting children and parents to run a mile with Sophie at the school on the 3rd April. 

  This event will also act as the launch of the ‘Morning Mile’ at Oakfield and participants will receive free HENRY goodies to take away.

  You do not have to be a ‘runner’ to join this event and you are welcome to jog, walk or jump along with Sophie, it is completely up to you. The important thing is that you have fun! 

   

  Timings are:

  9:30-10:30                           Nursery (am) and Reception

  11:00 – 12:00                     Years 3 and 4

  1:00 – 2:00                          Nursery (pm) and Years 1 and 2

  2:15 – 3:15                          Years 5 and 6

  ALL parents are welcome and encouraged to attend!

  Has your child got their costume sorted yet?

   

  Also, don't forget that your child has until Thursday to bring in their book for the Book Swap. Thank you to everyone who has contributed already.

  A reminder that our book swap is happening this week. If your child hasn't already brought in their book to swap, they have until Wednesday! The book swap will then take place on World Book Day which is on Thursday.
