  • Number 2017

    Fri 25 Jan 2019

We’re counting down to Number Day 2019!

    Dear Parents and Carers,

We are delighted to be supporting the NSPCC by taking part in their Number Day on Friday 1 February 2019.  You will have seen a brief parentmail earlier today, please see below for detailed information about what will be happening on that day.  There will be lots of exciting activities taking place.

Children deserve an equal start in life

The NSPCC believes that all children deserve a childhood free from harm but, sadly, that’s not the case for many children. That’s why the NSPCC is fighting for every childhood and working to help keep children safe from abuse.

The NSPCC needs our support. By raising money, we can help to fund their vital services such as Childline – the helpline that’s always there for children and young people whatever their problem or concern.

    Making maths meaningful and non-uniform!

Number Day is a great way to make maths fun and bring about a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude towards it.

On 1 February we will be using fun curriculum-based maths challenges, to help raise money for the NSPCC. Pupils will be invited to wear an item of clothing with a number on it (football shirt, cap, netball shirt or even a onesie!). We are asking for a suggested donation of £1, and we’d love everyone in the school to take part in this special event

    It all adds up

We’re looking forward to all the fun of Number Day, and we really appreciate your support. All the money we raise for the NSPCC will make an enormous difference to children today and help change the lives of children tomorrow.

Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate in contacting myself or the school.

    Thank you.

    Best wishes,

  • Principals Catering

    Mon 07 Jan 2019

    Dear Parent and Carers

Due to growing demand, from the 1st January 2019 our online portal will be the preferred method of payment.  The facility of payment by cash to the school will no longer be available.

Please log on to www.principals-catering.com and follow the instructions to pay online either through PayPal or by using direct payment by debit or credit card (there are no charges for this service). You can buy meals daily, weekly, monthly or termly if you choose.

Please could you endeavour to pay in advance for all meals that your children are booked to take, this can be done daily, weekly, fortnightly or half termly.

The cost of a meal currently is £2.15 per day (weekly charge £10.75 for 5 days)

If all of the above is done correctly it helps the efficiency of the system enormously and helps to reduce the number of late payment demands we have to send out. Failure to pay for meals in advance will unfortunately result in follow up communication from Principals and the school.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me on 07483 425779.

    Thank you,
