Fun at the Farm!
We had lots of fun at Godstone Farm with Farmer Jo! Our first activity of the day was a talk in the 'wool house' where we learnt the process of turning wool into clothes, before meeting the sheep with their lambs in the barn. We saw other animals in the barn too including goats with their kids and a cow with her new calf! After this we met and stroked some smaller animals including a rabbit, chickens, a gosling, a guinea pig and a tortoise. We then fed the pigs their lunch, before sitting down to ours! After lunch, we had a spider web spinning competition and then went on a walk around the dinosaur trail! The children were brilliant all day and enjoyed bringing all of their knowledge back into the classroom with them!
