Yannick Buditu (Board Appointed Governor)
I am a Head of Year at a secondary school in London and have been there for 5 years. My experience of working with young people and students vary within the field of education, youth offending, church and youth work.
If I could pick any the 3 most important values/parts of my life, it would be the following:
Faith, Family, Food.
Faith is an important part of who I am, it keeps me grounded and allows me an express a hope that goes beyond the conscious mind.
Family means everything to me; I am happily married and I am looking forward to starting a family of my own at some point.
Food! Wow, where do I start, I love eating. If someone wants to be on my good side, offer me food!
Gemma Chan (LGB Appointed Governor)
Rajinder Kaur-Gill
Headteacher and ex-officio Governor
Lively, enthusiastic and passionate is how I would describe myself. My name is Mrs Kaur-Gill and I have been teaching at Oakfield since 2008. I come from a large family of which many are also teachers.
As much as I love working with children, I also enjoy watching and playing sports such as netball, cricket, volley ball and football (I am a Man U supporter) as well as travelling and socialising with family and friends.
To find out more, come visit me in my classroom where you’ll see humour, happiness and hard-working children!
Joanne Murrock (Staff Governor)
I joined The Galaxy Trust in 2015, working in the school office and extended services. I am currently the School Business Manager at Oakfield Primary Academy which I am enjoying very much. My main responsibilities are ensuring the business support teams throughout the school run smoothly to ensure that we provide a professional, comprehensive service to the whole school community as well as continuing to keep school site compliant and safe environment to work and learn in. I am married and have 2 teenage daughters who previously attended Temple Hill Primary Academy and have since both succeeded well within their career journeys, in which I am very proud mum.
As a Staff Governor, I am keen to ensure that the views of the staff, the governors, the parents and, most importantly, the children are shared and valued.
Nichola Perez (Board Appointed Governor)
