Welcome to the Nightingale's Class page.

We are hard working, enthusiastic and independent learners. Please check back regularly for updates of all the excellent work we have been doing.

Our Topic for Term 1 was People of the Past. We learnt about Florence Nightingale, Captain Cook, Guy Fawkes, famous artists and musicians and many more. We really enjoyed having a visit from 'Florence Nightingale'!

In Term 2 we had two topics. We really enjoyed our first topic 'Night Time' topic where we learnt about nocturnal animals, people that work at night and the night time sky. We went on an exciting night time walk with our grown ups and even had a visit from a real paramedic and fireman! Our next topic was 'Say Cheese' where we used lots of I.C.T and computing equipment.

In Term 3 our Topic was Super Human. We have had lots of fun carrying out investigations and experiments in the science lab, finding out how the digestive system works, what the human body is made up of, how it works and comparing it to a fish.

In Term 4, we will be learning about the history of the circus and learning some circus skills.
