Oakfield Community Primary School Nursery has been open since 2008 and has seen many developments, including our new purpose designed building which opened in January 2013.

We offer a safe, secure and stimulating environment where each child is valued and individual needs are met. Our Nursery is run by qualified teachers and early years practitioners who strive to provide our children with high quality learning experiences, helping to lay strong foundations for future learning.

Oakfield staff encourage investigation, exploration and creative thinking, and inspire children to lead their own learning by having their own ideas and choosing their own way to do things. We pride ourselves on delivering a child centred education that is led by children’s individual needs and interests, as well as focusing on developing children’s independence and encouraging them to develop a ‘have a go’ attitude.

At Oakfield Nursery, we are passionate in delivering a holistic education to ensure that all children in our care become confident, self-respecting individuals, empowering them to become life-long learners.

Nursery runs in 2 sessions:

Morning - 8:30am to 11:30am

Afternoon - 12:30pm to 3:30pm

Please visit our page regularly to have a look at photos of our children having fun and learning in the inside and outside learning environment.

Please note: A place in our nursery does not guarantee a place in reception, as these places are allocated by Kent County Council.
