Welcome to Austen Class - that's Jane Austen to you and me!  Ms. Mant, Mrs. Henderson and myself are very much looking forward to working with you and your wonderful children throughout the year. Making muffins!

 

We used a range of ingredients to make a new material-chocolate chip muffins.  We measured the ingredients, combined them and cooked them to make an irreversible change.  We then evaluated the batches according to texture, appearance, taste and smell.

Robbie was selected to go ice skating as part of our Inspired Ways to Rio project.
Khadi and Miss. Henderson went to visit the dry ski slope in Chatham as part of our Inspired ways to Rio 2016.  After a lesson on the slope they were treated to a toboggan ride!

As our exit point for our topic 'Fairgrounds', we invited our parents in to see everything we have been doing.  We set up experiments, showed photos of Legoland and had our fairground rides on display. Mr Pearn even came to visit!
