Parking

Recently we have received complaints from local residents about a small number of parents parking irresponsibly/illegally within the local community. This includes parking in front of private driveways, on yellow lines and on the pavement. Furthermore there have been complaints raised about the aggression shown towards them when they rightly challenge this irresponsible behaviour. Please can I remind all parents to park legally and responsibly. Please do not park in front of private residents’ driveways and please do not put other children at risk by parking on yellow lines or on the pavement. We fully appreciate that parking right by the school is an issue however this is the same at the majority of schools and is not an excuse to park illegally or irresponsibly. We have advise residents to report any aggression/threats to the police and have also requested increased surveillance from the parking wardens and PCSO. Thank you.
